Drool Editor is a 2D animation app for Windows and Android, made by [Sun Studios / your name] ("we"). This policy explains what information the app handles.
The short version: your drawings stay on your device. The app has no analytics and no tracking. Tester builds ask you to sign in with Discord, and that sign-in is the only time the app sends anything to us.
Your documents
Everything you make in Drool Editor stays on your device: drawings, animations and project files. We never receive it, and neither does anyone else, unless you choose to share it yourself.
Crash reports and logs
If the app crashes, or you use Help › Report a Problem, it saves a report on your device. A report includes a log of what the app was doing just before. Reports are never sent automatically. We only see one if you send it to us, for example on our Discord server.
Tester sign-in (tester builds only)
Pre-release tester builds ask you to sign in with Discord, to confirm you're an invited tester. When you sign in:
- Discord tells us your Discord user ID, username and display name, and whether you're in the Drool Editor Discord server with the Tester role. We can't see your other servers, your messages or your email address.
- The app sends a device ID and the date the build was made. The device ID comes from your device's own system ID, scrambled one way so that the original never leaves your device.
- We store your Discord user ID, username, display name, device ID, the build date and the time you signed in. This tells us which testers have activated which devices.
Our server doesn't keep your IP address. Cloudflare, which runs the server, has to handle it to deliver your sign-in.
We use this information only to run the tester programme. We never sell it, share it with anyone else, or use it for advertising. It is stored on Cloudflare's servers, and the sign-in goes through Discord. Cloudflare and Discord each handle data under their own privacy policies.
We keep these records until the tester programme ends, then delete them. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time; the contact details are below. Once they're deleted, you'll need to sign in again to keep testing.
Builds without the tester sign-in send no information at all.
Analytics and tracking
None. The app contains no analytics, automatic crash reporting, advertising or tracking of any kind.
Children
Drool Editor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. We'll announce significant changes to testers on our Discord server.
